A must visit place when you are at Hyderabad in Telangana, India.
The ‘Birla Foundation’ in India has constructed several ‘White Marble’ temples all over India. These all temples are known as ‘Birla Mandir*. You can see one such magnificent Birla Mandir in Hyderabad also. This temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara (of Tirumala Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh).
The temple took 10 years to complete, and about 2000 tons of white marble was brought from Rajasthan for building it. This is located on the top of a hill of 280 feet, also known as Naubat Pahad. The temple is open at the specific time and you can see a nice view of Hyderabad City from this temple.
You need to deposit the cell phones at the counter while entering the temple. The temple was opened for public in the year 1976 and like all other Birla Mandirs, this is also a must visit place. (*Mandir means Temple)
Charminar is in the 'must watch' list when you visit Hyderabad !
We will go on adding more places to visit in Hyderabad to this blog post. Keep visiting!
