How to start working as Digital Marketing Freelancer? - Part 1

Hi All

I have been asked this question multiple times in personal discussions, in the seminars and now through forums like Quora also.

Being a Digital Marketing Freelancer:

Part 1 of being a Digital Marketing Freelancer is to learn the Digital Marketing from an experienced trainer. The key parts of digital marketing are Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Optimisation, Search Engine Optimisation, email marketing, content marketing and Mobile Marketing.

Part 2 is to understand how to find the work, how to collaborate with other freelancers and how to quote. You will need help of a graphic designer freelancer to be more efficient in your work.

Part 3 is actual discussions with client, finalising the order and completing the work. Understanding current market rates as per client expectations is a continuous process.

Part 4 is to get the payment and being in a contract with client. These can be monthly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly contracts.

Implementation:

For Part 1, you should know what to learn and where to learn! We also conduct online courses on digital marketing (which we used to conduct as classroom course earlier)

Part 3 comes with actual experience but you can either do an internship or do a job for a while till you understand the commercials.

Part 4 is to ensure your payments and understand the contract terms
